Greetings

My name is Furuya and I am the representative of Office EmotionSoft, Inc..

The world of software development is evolving at a rapid pace, and with the advancement of development languages, tools, and methods themselves, the temperament of the people working there and even the atmosphere of the field has changed drastically in the span of a few years. Having worked in this field for a long time, I feel that the speed of change has accelerated even more in recent years.

The people who are involved in system development today are not only more technologically advanced than a decade ago, but they are also much more sophisticated and stylish. They study hard, adapt quickly to the environment, follow the rules well, and above all, they don’t shout too loudly.

But do you have a few people in your team who sometimes try to break the rules by trying to improve or extend a feature with their own ideas until someone stops them? Do you have people who raise their tone of voice when the discussion gets heated and start writing ideas on the whiteboard when they can’t talk anymore?

In an organization, such people are called “crazies,” and in some cases, they may be branded as “troublemakers. But don’t these people sometimes come up with ideas and products that no one else has thought of, and make the people around them surprised?

As far as I know, such people have always been the driving force behind the advancement of the software development world. Not only in the software world, but also in the past and in the future, I believe that people full of such energy will change this world.

Only people who truly believe they can change the world can change the world.

I loved this commercial for the Apple computer that was released when Steve Jobs was still alive. The “crazy and nasty” people shown on the screen in monotone were Muhammad Ali, John Lennon, Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso….

Compared to these great people of the century, our business is on a much smaller scale, but we always have a strong desire to change the world. We seriously want to change the world with the products we have created.

I am sure that there are many engineers who have the same desire among the people who are currently involved in system development. I’m sure there are many programmers who passionately talk about their ideas and draw their images on the whiteboard. Emotion Software would like to create and provide products that can be used by and for such people.

Our website has just been launched and has only a few contents, but we hope to provide a lot of useful information to those who are active in the world of software development. We intend to evolve this site into something like that.

Thank you for your continued support of Emotion Software.
