EmotionSoft is currently unable to respond to offers for new development projects, as the entire schedule has been assigned until August 2021. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we will only be able to offer new projects that start in September 2021 or later.
Thank you for your understanding.
How to make a contract and start service
There are several steps before Emotion Software can start providing services to clients.
The first step is to let people know about Emotion Software as a business that provides program development and website development services. Many customers will probably reach our website by searching for keywords related to program development or WordPress on Google or other search services. After that, if you are interested in the articles and posts on the site and would like to discuss a job with us, you can contact us using the contact form.
In the contact form, please provide as much detail as possible about the service you are interested in, a summary of the project for which you are interested in the service, the work conditions, when the work will start and when it will be completed, and the compensation conditions. We will get back to you within two to three days.
If the negotiation is successful, we will sign a contract and a confidentiality agreement before we start providing the service.
The flow up to this point is the same for all services and all contract types shown in “System size and service content and fees“.
If you would like to discuss your work immediately, please contact us using the contact form.
Quasi-delegated contract: From monthly work report to settlement
As shown in the section “System size and service content and fees/Fee for Large/Medium-Scale System Development Projects (Quasi-Delegation Contracts),” for large-scale projects that require dozens of man-months or more of development time, EmotionSoft has an SES company act as an agent and concludes a quasi-delegation contract with this company.
The quasi-delegation contract does not require the delivery of deliverables. (However, if you don’t produce and deliver quality deliverables on a project-by-project basis, you will soon be forced to leave the site. The basic flow of work and the process from invoicing to settlement is as follows
EmotionSoft checks the monthly work report submitted by the contractor (usually the SES company) and the service provider (usually the development site vendor or Sler company) for the month-end work, and checks whether the contracted working hours and work contents are met.
If it is OK, Emotionsoft will issue an invoice to the contractor, and the contractor will make payment at the site according to the agreement at the time of contract. Normally, the invoice is closed at the end of the month and paid at the end of the following month. We do not allow payment grace periods longer than the 20th of the following month.
Contracts: from delivery and inspection to settlement
For all contracted services, except for quasi-delegated contracts for large-scale projects as shown in “System size and service content and fees“, the client is required to inspect the deliverables within a certain period of time (usually one week) after delivery.
If there are any problems with the deliverables, Emotion Software will correct them and deliver them again. If the result is OK, the contractor will issue a certificate of acceptance, and Emotion Software will issue an invoice.
Contract owners are requested to make payment within the site as per the agreement at the time of contract. Normally, we ask for payment at the end of the month following the month of acceptance. We ask that you refrain from payment grace periods longer than the 20th of the following month.
If you have any questions about our work, please contact us using the contact form.
